Have you been noticing one too many leaks in your plumbing and water-based appliances? While you may think it’s a pipe problem, it may just be a water pressure issue. The easiest way to fix this is through a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) installation in the main water supply line.
High water pressure causes plumbing to wear out faster and utility bills to rise, even though it feels divine in the shower. Your pipes, fixtures and appliances are at a higher risk of damage when water pressure exceeds 50 psi. The typical pressure for a home is 40 – 45 psi, while keeping in mind that it should not exceed 60 psi.

What is a PRV?In all its entirety, the pressure reducing/relieving/regulating valve, is a valve that can be installed to the main line to achieve a constant pressure.
How Does It Work? The pressure valve helps relieve or regulate water pressure by reducing the fluid to the setting you choose for the output. PRVs can be integrated into the system with an external setting, a sensor, and a restrictor all assimilated into one, or the components can be separated into the flow valve, its controller, and an automatic pressure sensor. While most PRVs have a default setting of 3 bars, it can be adjusted to your particular requirements. In recent versions, the PRV features ceramic disc that is operated by a spring-loaded diaphragm. |

I got quotes from five different plumbers. Not only were they the least expensive, but they took the time to walk me through everything, so I truly understood the cost estimate. They arrived right on time and completed the work as promised. Now for the part that sounds like make-believe; the final cost was less than the original estimate. I kid you not!
